It is very important that the photo you submit is within the specifications and sizes as required by the Indian Embassy. Please see the details given below. Unacceptable photographs may result in a rejection of visa or non acceptance of the application.
The photograph should be a coloured photograph (not black & white or sepia) and should be of the size of 2 inch x 2 inch (50 mm x 50 mm).
It should be a clear photo with good quality taken on a white or light coloured plain background.
It should have your full face and must have the eyes open. It should also present your full face from the top of hair to bottom of the chin.
The photograph should not have any distracting shadows on the face or on the background.
Unless religious, head coverings are not permitted.
Please take a natural photo without any smile or expressions.
